To discover your own creative routine, try experimenting with different rituals. Whether it’s writing from the comfort of your bed or waking up to watch the dawn of each new day, find out which rituals and routines work best for you — whatever gets those neurons firing and allows your creative juices to flow.
But remember that we are all wired differently, so a particular habit that worked for your favorite writer may not work for you. And that’s okay.
Nevertheless, do some research on your creative icons and test out the different aspects of their unique rituals. You may be surprised to discover how much it inspires your creative work going forward.
